Grammar of Russian Verbs

The verb is a part of speech expressing an action or a state:

мы бежи́м – we are running
он сиди́т – he is sitting

In Russian there are only three verb tenses: Present, Past and Future. Additionally all Russian verbs are divided into two groups: a verb can be perfective or imperfective.

Being conjugated Russian verbs change their endings depending on what type of conjugation they belong to. There is also a number of irregular verbs which completely or partially change their form in different tenses. Some verbs change only a part of their stem. One can learn the most from working with Russian translation services because top translation companies get local people of the specific countries to do all their translations.
